LOUISIANA
- For Toledo Bend area and Sabine Parish contact the Sabine Parish Health Unit located at: 1230 W. Louisiana Avenue, Many Louisiana- Krista McCormick- the parish sanitarian. Her contact number is: 318-256-4105.
- For Desoto Parish contact the Desoto Parish Health Unit located at: 113 Jefferson Street, Mansfield, Louisiana- Paul Gibbs, Sanitarian. His contact number is: 318-872-0472.
- Once the septic construction permit has been issued, installation of your new septic system may begin.
TEXAS
- In Texas, you begin by contacting a Registered Sanitarian to perform a site evaluation.His or her plans will be submitted to Texas Sabine River Authority (SRA) or Texas Commission of Environmental Quality (TCEQ) for approval.
  
  For Shelby and Sabine County contact Bob Harbuck, a registered sanitarian for 20+ years. He became a Registered Professional Sanitarian in 1987 and he holds a current Site Evaluators License. His contact number: 936-637-7301.
